I don't know if price makes a difference, but I would like to carry a set of jumper leads for my 150 Prado automatic diesel. It has a dual battery system.
Croc I made my own from heavy welding leads and alligator clamps. If you are just jumping from aux to main price some 35mm2 or 50mm2 cable (twin core) and big mother alligator clamps. I would expect it to be cheaper than proprietary leads and much much better.

Thank you for your reply mjrandom. I am more than happy to knock up a set of leads like you have suggested, however most proprietary leads these days have surge protectors. Are they not necessary?
