Hi Guys,

Quick question for those in the know - there is a

TD-1300A-X5 [Link]
TD-1300A-X4 [Link]

Is the head unit the same - just that the X5 unit comes with the fifth valve cap?

I want to monitor 5 tyres - DX have the 4 tyre for $138 delivered - I can source the fifth cap cheap through work, just want to make sure I can add the fifth to the X4 head unit

The GUI looks different. I'm not too fussed about the spare as it usually won't be affected while driving so I'm happy with a 4 sensor version.

Looks same to me - one image (the x5) is just distorted

On the X5, there is a spare tyre symbol at the bottom center of screen. I have the X4 and there is no spare tyre symbol on mine.

FYI peeps - rang someone at TyreDog - she explained that they are the same units. You need to purchase the specific #5 sensor (of course) and once paired it will bring up the 5th icon etc.
