  • New Toyota 4x4's not in Aus

I wonder what our chances are of getting these in Aus?

Check the bonnet scoop on this baby... V8 comes standard in these.

And we all know that Mr FlyNdrive cruises in one of these everyday!!! All of these accessories are available from Toyota in the USA :?

The first one is the Sequoia. It is in competition for the full size SUV's from Ford and Chevy (Holden). I doubt you will get it. The nitch is filled well with 100 series, but it tows a lot.

The second vehicle is a true 120, It is the Toyota 4-Runner, but it is not a Land Cruiser. It has the same frame, 4.0L petrol engine as the Prado, but it is available with a 4.7 V-8.

Here is a pic of my best mate Croz and his FJ.

Here is a more recent pic from the Mojave Road Expedition last weekend in California.

Here is Croz's rear bumper we made in his garage from an ARB bumper for an FJ Cruiser.

Croz just sold those wheels and went with the American Racing Chamber Teflon coated wheels and Micky Thompson Baja Belted.

            Go America...

...even the wheely bin is pimped out with big rims and low profile rubber.

I like Croz,s ride. Hey Flyer, is that an ocean beach or does he surf in one of the big lakes?

Would love the Prado to have that sort of stance especially with that bar work...

Very nice indeed, pass it on to your mate...

The old wheels were 18" wheels and 33" tyres. The new wheels are 16" with 34" tyres.

By the looks of the beach it's the Outer Banks of North Carolina on the mid-Atlantic. The waves can get somewhat large when it blows, but the ride is short. There is no lake surfing that I have ever heard of up here.

Croz got back to me he said,,,,,,

They were TRD 18's (18x9). They originally came out on the old TRD Tundras and Sequoias. They were made by BBS
I couldn't find any on eBay right now, but will keep looking and post here if I see any.
