  • Drawer Fridge - Waeco

Was looking through a Trucking magazine today and found an article on these drawer fridges, was thinking this would be a great idea for the back of the 4B with a drawer system.

    Anyone got one?

Looks interesting, but not for me as I've just laid down all the credit card's funds on a different fridge.

I'd have to agree that it's a great idea. I'd love the integrated look in a drawer system. Having said that, the 30L size might be a bit small for more than a couple of people camping for a while, but having said that everyone will have their own idea of whats big enough.

4WD Tips had one installed in a set of drawers on the show yesterday, lots of the caravan manufacturers have them as an outside fridge on their top of the line vans. The 4WD Tip installation unbolted the compressor and mounted in the side behind the the wheel arch freed up a heap of space.

See ya on the tracks. Richo.

Thats a great idea. Perfect just for beer/other beverages. But I'd still need my 50l to go on a decent trip.

I've had my eye on one of these for a while. They're a good size to be mounted on a single drawer during summer to keep a supply of cold drinks.

A good way to get it past SWMBO is to tell her that she can put all the meat and dairy in after shopping.

They have advertised this on 4wd monthly mag DVD.greT idea that you can remove the compressor and mount it some where out of the way.Not a lot of room though.Would be ok as a back up fridge in the camper trailer.
