2011 diesel Prado fuel light

Hi we have 2011 diesel prado and when fuel tank is almost full the fuel light is coming on and staying on now. The partner said it happened when she was driving up and down streets hill around Mona Vale in Sydney. The distance till empty seems correct at 880klm's to the amount of fuel showing on gauge and we only refueled car yesterday.
Any help would be appreciated im suspecting sticky fuel gauge in tank..

Still under warranty isn't it ?? Take it back to Toyota and get them to fix the problem. Cant say I've read of that anywhere.....Cheers Steve

If the tank is full or near full and you've only got 880k as a distance to empty you either drive very uneconomically or there is definitely issues. a
As Steve said warranty claim.
