Went over to my sister's place on Sunday. Wedged between the XUI Toranas (2) and GT Falcons (3) in the garage was this boat of a car. 440 wedge magnum Charger. $19,000 landed in oz.

Hmmm Vin Diesel , great name ! Thinking of changing mine to Chass Petrol or Locky Diff. Hey now there's a new thread , What would be your Hollywood name? But not here ,that would be off topic .

Very nice Dave. My mate has a 440 magnum sitting under his bench just waiting for the right project. As you do...
        Any pics of the torries?

        Cheers, Ben.

These 2 were bought for $52k for the pair at a divorcee sale in Denmark. They are both genuine XU1s however the mint green one is missing it's compliance plate. My sister sold the green one for something over $50k. The red one is presently undergoing a total restoration and has just come out of the paint shop in it's original silver colour. My sister hopes to have it completed in time for the Torana nationals in the Barossa in April. The Torana on the hoist was picked up for a little over $5k. It's an original former race car that debuted at Bathurst in 73 but the drivers failed to qualify. It was found in country WA and appears the owner didn't really know what he had. It will be restored to it's original white with light blue highlights and Bathurst markings.

Wow! Awesome torries. Thanks Dave. I'd love to go to the nationals - what's the bet they're on the same time as the GTG.
            Cheers, Ben.
