  • Do you take it ? or leave it at home ?

And here i was thinking this was a thread about the missus...

As far as the engle is concerned, if its not occupying any space that would be better utilised then i would take it. If not for the convenience of having cool drinks and stuff for the tin lids on the drive and take some gear for lunch and that on the road.

If you can manage to fit the fridge in, without having to leave a kid at home, then take it with you.

Its just so convenient having it in the car ... for cold drinks, pre-packed lunches, kids snacks, even some cold water bottles on a hot day.

      My 2 cents

      Cheers

        I just did all that...

Yeah I think if you got it use it. I like a cold beer at the end of the day and the fridge can make sure of that, especially since it is a holiday. Plus the added extras of lunches and cold drinks through the day will make it worth while.

                Hey Matt

Doesn't matter if it is a day trip or a long trip it is always in the back and gives an excuse to leave other not so important stuff out cos it won't fit (toys etc)

Essential piece of equipment for a trip to NQ, or Tasmania or anywhere .

Otherwise how do you keep beer, milk , water and food cool.

If answer is with an Esky, that needs ice and probably takes as much room as the Engel.

And don't forget its cyclone season up north at the moment and this could mean delays on the road.

My fridge is the first thing that gets loaded when we go anywhere. Plenty of cold water, and a few gold cans.

                          Take it.
Leave the kids with the grandparents and just have a nice get away with your wife.

                            Take the fridge.

Ours is always in the car and ready to go and always cold. Great for when Lacey has one of her daily unplanned window shopping days.

As mentioned before, it is without a doubt the best way to keep a few cans of "Dad's frothy ginger ale" icy cold and ready for immediate comsumption at days (or wits) end with a day in the car with the tin lids
                            Regards,

Do you take it ? or leave it at home ?

Can only agree with Big Fella, our fridge lives in the car, is always on and always cold. The gear for trips planned around IT!
