  • Can the Pre-Spinner remove water before it reach the filter

    O.K. Guys,

I have one more question. I have secured the Pre-Spinners and had a question about their operation. I will be attaching mine with a Safari Snorkel. My mate will be adding his to a Cold Air Intake box (CAI). His concern is small amounts of water.

Can the Pre-Spinner remove small amounts of water before it gets to the filter?

I have gotten into situations like this weekend where in did ingest small amounts of water and was stopped by the air filter.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks,

    -Ben

Do you have any pics of the CAI or where you were able to source one from?

There are three made for the FJ Cruiser (and mount the same as the 4.0l petrol)

        Here is the aFe CAI...

        Available on-line at...https://www.shopatron.com/index/534.0

The second is the Toyota TRD.

It is available from fjcruiseroffroad.com http://www.shop.fjcruiseroffroad.com...?categoryId=10

e-mail Barbara of Jacques. I know they have shipped to other PP'ers.

...and the third is crap, so no need to even look at it.

If you need help let me know. I can call them.
