Auto transmissionon Prado 150

Have a near new 150 Prado which I am very pleased with.

I do a bit of towing within the Prado's specifications and was wondering if it needed a transmission cooler. Mr Toyota says that it would void the warranty immediately. ( car is one year old with an extended warranty)

Local auto transmission guy says to install the cooler as he has seen many Prados come in with melted trannys and Toyota won't cover them via warranty!!

I saw a post a while ago about thisut could not find it. Anyone have an independent opinion or have experience?
