  • No more diagrams on Toyodiy.com

Up until a few weeks ago, I could still see the diagrams on toyodiy. They have now all disappeared. Scanning through the front page, there was a note dated Dec 9 2009 that the diagrams are no longer available. Perhaps the Prado diagrams weren't removed until very recently.

If you are not a registered member then no diagrams!

I'm a registered user on Toyodiy and until a few weeks ago, I found that there were no more pictures on the site. At all. And it's not just for our Prados. Every car on there too. Pictures. Gone. That site doesn't seem to be of good use to anyone here anymore I guess. Maybe just for getting part numbers.

So I went looking around their site just now and I found this:

                  Contact us

As mentioned in the news feed, the diagrams are no longer available on this site. Toyota Motor Sales Inc. demanded that we remove them, citing copyright claims.

We think this change will not have a significant negative impact on Toyota DIY-ers, it just makes parts lookup more difficult as the diagrams are still easy to obtain (you want a Toyota CD set called Toyota EPC). Note however that we do not distribute this application.

If your question is still unanswered, select "Contact us", option "Other".

                  Thank you for using ToyoDIY.com!

If you have looked at said diagrams before then they are probably cached.. Try a shift f5 whilst on a page and see what reloads..
It's the only answer as they have obviously removed them by the news they have posted.

There's another site with diagrams :

                          www.japan-parts.eu

                          Enjoy!

That's odd. I've tried to register and still no diagrams. You must be special!
