Yesterday, on the Duncan Hwy about 25km out from Halls Creek, a troopy rolled over. One woman is dead. Several others are in various hospitals some with serious to critical injuries.

Driver reckons the steering wheel locked and he couldn't steer around a bend. That was because the ignition barrel had been removed as there was no key.Dave

I once had an old Renault where we replaced the ignition switch with two big push buttons on the dash, green for start and red for stop.
