So Mark did you go the full on war & peace type letter or just short and sweet? There's not much room on that form to tell your side of the story. Going to go in tomorrow to take a gander at the photo just in case it's not even my car (has been known to happen).

I did that once, because I knew about the camera & was under the limit.Originally posted by fido666 View PostSo Mark did you go the full on war & peace type letter or just short and sweet? In the pic There was a vehicle alongside me, I asked how do you know which vehicle is the speeder?
The answer " ohh he will be getting a ticket as well" f-wits!

Had to change plans today so will have to wait till Monday to check out the pic. Good point you make ####, I asked the same question once and they said the angle of the beam tells them.......yeah right!
So what was the outcome?
Thanks Mark, I'll keep it short and sweet on the letter. The lady I spoke to at CCV said just state the basic reasons for requesting a review.

Hey mate,
I recently got off a fine (3 weeks ago). One point that's often overlooked is that you MUST admit guilt.
And make sure you include all the info (rego, fine #, license no etc).
If you want, PM me and I'll give you the letter I used to get off.
Cheers

Well there was some good news in the mail today, fine and demerit point withdrawn and replaced with an Official Warning. The letter does state that I can't request another Internal Review for a minimum 2 years. Thanks Chris for PMing that letter, it's pretty much what I wrote in mine. I went in a couple of weeks ago and checked the photo than handed the letter in over the counter so they reviewed it fairly quickly.

What the cameras or the coppers? They hang them off overpasses here (cameras that is), bit hard to knock those ones off their pearch.Originally posted by BushbasherJust run the buggers over like they did in Perth yesterday.

Which road was the camera on, and was it a fixed one or mobile one?
Dave.

Interesting read here.
A guy got done for speeding with a fixed speed camera so out of curiosity he went back to the offending speed camera that claimed he was speeding, Measured the markings on the road and found that they was 3 inches shorter than standard so took his case to court and won based on the fact that because lines was closer together it portrayed him to be going faster than his actual speed!
