Shop on the Gold Coast (back of Burleigh?). Mate of mine has had one for a few years and has no complaints, but I don't think they are magnitudes better than any of the others.

They are no different to any other cheap made Chinese tent. Great if your going to use them occasionally, but if you intend to keep them for a long time I would suggest looking elsewhere, and for one not made in China

Yep we have one, and so do a few friends. We have the tent, and awning. They are made in South Africa, no China.

Ours has been great, never had a problem, and the guys at GordiGear are great to deal with.

I recommend them to everyone. Prices are better than ARB, and some others.

Gordigear are not made in South Africa, the only RTT made in SA are Hannibal and Howling Moon
There are many companies saying that they are made in SA, but that is false. Buyer Beware. Same goes for the GSM of the canvas.

I looked at their tents when I bought my second RTT, it looked good quality and all the boxes were ticked other than them being available all around Australia. Ended up going for the ARB branded tent, sole reason being I could get parts for it anywhere and their after sales is really good. My first RTT was also an ARB, I just simply wore it out, bought it second hand, all the zips were wearing out, the cover was stuffed and the tent was getting well worn after alot of use. I broke the ladder on it on a weekend away, next week we were leaving for a big trip and the guys at cooper plains pulled the ladder off their display to get me outta trouble.
