    has anyone tried updating the navigation system went to my dealer in mornington and was told its $900 to update as the disc comes from Japan have placed a call to toyota sydney but they just refeered me to my dealer cant believe this info from the dealer is correct any help appreciated

    Don't know about the 2014 Kakadu but the Whereis map disc for my 2009 is around $300 and it's not even worth that IMHO. It's just maps with voice guidance, it has no facility for speed zone alerts, speed cameras, etc.

    Does the disc for the 2014 provide anything extra to justify the extra cost? I tried searching for the 2014 but they don't have one, maybe Toyota are using a different supplier on the latest models.
