Hi guys,
I've read a few threads on UHF channels, and I know Channel 5 is the emergency channel, Channel 40 is the truckie (highway) channel etc, and certain channels are designated for convoys or conversations etc.....
Just wondering has Pradopoint got a nominated working channel for our trips/convoys or does it just depend on who is running the trip and other local issues?
I was thinking if it's practical we should have a designated pradopoint channel to make it easier to find each other? I was recently out at Ophir trying to find a local 4WD gathering and I had to call up on several channels until I stumbled upon the right channel. It was easy enough I suppose but would have been easier if I knew what channel they were on. I guess a decent briefing/info before any trip goes a long way.....
Just thought I would throw this out there for comment.....
