We've got the aircon on. Winter came and went in about 2 weeks. 35 (again) today.

Can send you snow if you want it - put it in a container and brought back down of the mountain for my wife in my car fridge selected -2 degrees. Now in the freezer - can produce it at Xmas.

I remember being in Canberra on December 15th 1982 (my mum's birthday) and I had snow on my green beret (army polyester summer uniform).

We were down in Canberra two weeks ago for a bike rally. There was 3-4" of snow at the old Honeysuckle Creek tracking station.

2 of my mates took the Landie up for a recce before we rode up.

When the photo arrived we decided that the motel in Queanbeyan was a nice warmer place to stay. Still took a day ride up to the rally.

We now know why we decided to move to Queensland. Too fricking cold.
