Great work. When you're done, slide on over here. I need to fix up my camper - it's been stone chipped and lost all the paint from the forward edges and chassis.Dave

Hi All,
Thought it best to tag onto this post than create a new one - I recently acquired a steel work bench that had a fair bit of surface rust as well as other built up crud.
I have grinded / sanded back with flap disks and got it looking relatively pretty, but there will always be areas that are impossible to reach (underneath behind the doors, corners etc).
As it is just surface rust and not visible, am I best off
1. Use rust convert, pentetrol then paint
2. Use rust converter then paint
3. Use penetrol then paint
4. Just paint
Cheers,
Kevin

penetrol and paint would be fine mate, if you really want to go all out you could use rust convertor and penetrol and paint. You could just paint it with kill rust style paint if trying to do it on the cheap but IMO penetrol is gold.

Resurrecting this thread again - looking at comments / feedback on Sodablasting and compressors.
For something like this: http://www.australiasodablasters.com.au/sodablaster it states 8CFM at 90PSI. Is that displacement CFM or FAD CFM?
Comments on compressors brands / models would be appreciated (without going too far over the top).
This would be for the occasional trailer blast / respray. I currently have three trailers that I was looking at fixing up, plus potentially a float.
