Air Vent Slide

Hi,

I have a 2003 Prado and the knobs (for want of a better word) on 2 of the vents have come apart and now I can't adjust the airflow direction.

Has anyone else had this issue and what is the best way to fix?

It's a common issue. When we bought ours the passenger vent in the middle was missing it's "slide thingy" and the drivers in the middle broke recently. I taped it back together as 1 of the small clips at the rear of the "slide thingy" was broken so it fell back apart again 5 seconds after putting it back together.
Do you still have the "slide thingys" or have you lost them?

Hi Bill,

I have one but not the other. I only just bought it and am 'negotiating' with the dealer I got it from to have them fixed...

Fingers crossed.

I'm thinking it may be a job for SUPER Glue....
