evening all. ive got an annoying bloody whistle coming from my 150 prado when sitting just over 100k p/hour,,, i back of and it stops... recently had a light bar and spots fitted to my opposite lock bullbar, so i thought that may be the cause.. removed them both, but whistle is still there, sometimes becomes even more pronounced and can hear it over the radio even. its not a vaccuum type whistle, have looked the vehicle over and cannot find anything out of place... anyone else got this prob..... only 2000 k on the clock..... driving me nuts!! cheers

If the noise disappears when you back off it is load related. Causes could be transmission, or induction tract or after the turbo. Things to check would be for oil stains from all the joints post turbo. Rubber lines and worm drive clamps, intercooler pipes and the like. Can't remember if yours has a snorkel. Induction noise travels up and is noticeable under load. If the car is new the will be harder to see any telltale signs on the joints.
