  • Pierce Arrow recovery Vehicle

I had the delight of my daughter's wedding yesterday. My now son in-law talked a generous owner of the most gorgeous restored Pearce Arrow into allowing his precious possession to be the bridal car. All went well until half way to the venue when some major engine problem stopped us. Following behind were the bridesmaids and lastly my wife in the 120 Prado. The plan had been to keep the unwashed Prado well out of sight at the venue. Now we had to hatch plan B. My daughter and I hopped into the back of the Prado and proceeded to the venue which was a friends farm. At the gate the bridesmaids jumped onto the running boards of the Prado and with much tooting and hollering we all arrived and proceed to walk my daughter down the "aisle" Awesome day, stunning bride just sorry for the Groom who had planned the Arrow ever since he laid eyes on it some years ago.

That was a great entrance for a wedding. The Prado didn't look too bad for a dirty one, I didn't notice any dirt. The brightness of the girls must have distracted any close observation of the recovery vehicle.

The Arrow looks awesome, and that was a great bit of thinking with plan B

              Congratulations to everyone.

One of our wedding cars (limo) had an engine failure on the way from the ceremony to the reception, just one of a number of things on the day that didn't go to plan, and funnily enough those are the things I remember with the most fondness.

Nice picture with the girls on the side steps

                  Cheers Andrew
