Where to go for Auto Sparky in Adelaide

G'day,

I hope it's ok to ask this here.
Not sure this is in the right place, feel free to move it.
I've searched on here and Google but not having much luck.

I'm looking at getting a dual battery setup and auxiliary points fitted to the Prado.
I have collected most of the pieces I want fitted.
Having no knowledge in electrics I would like to get it done properly, the first time.

Can anyone in Adelaide recommend a business or an Auto Electrician you would be happy to work on your car?

Hi Leon,

All depends on where you are or far how far you're willing to travel, but Robbie at Hectorville Auto Electrical on St Bernards Rd has done a few jobs for me.
Certainly isn't a fancy building by a long shot, but he's a good operator

There's a real cheap guy on gumtree that works for a toyota dealer as auto electrician. Ill try to find his deets.

Where abouts in Adelaide do you live???

I used to live in Victor Harbor and when i worked we Subleted some work to an auto sparky can find his name out if you want but can't remember it off the top of my head

You could try Nick @ ROXEN Auto electrical. They are located just east of Hanson rd on Grand Junction Road.

Work on everything from classic cars to boats and cranes.
Family run venture that listens to clients requests.
You will have to book in for work though as they are generally busy.
Call in and have a chat with Nick, Iam sure he will help you out.

Troy I went to ROXEN and spoke to the guys. They were great to spend the time with me and go through everything,
they were pretty busy the day I dropped in.
Once I get all the ebay pieces I will be going back to them to do the job.

Well,

Took the car down to Roxen last week to get my dual battery and other pieces fitted up on the car.
The staff were excellent, they took the time and I went through everything with them.
They had it for 4 days and I when I went to collect it I was pleasantly surprised at how meticulous and neat their work was.
They did a terrific job at installing all my bits and pieces and making it look as factory as possible and removing the mess of wires and relays from the old wiring from it's life as a mine vehicle.

I would happily recommend going there and speaking to them if your looking for some work to be done.

Good to hear positive feedback from a referral Leon.
One can be hesitant to do so, as word of mouth is not always reliable for every trade.
