I changed out the old interior light globes to led lights but cannot work out how the glove box globe comes out so I can replace it. Looks like the globe sits in a hex head configuration but shallow to the plastic so I can't really get a grip on the hex head. I'm starting to damage the area around the globe trying to get it out. Perhaps I have to dissemble the dash but surely it can't be that difficult? Any ideas anyone? Thanks.

Hi, pretty late to the party here, but this post was the first thing that came up when I searched the same issue.
It's quite easy to get to the glovebox globe.
Remove the shiny trim (not sure if GX has this)
Pull out the left hand side trim
Remove the two bolts holding the glove box in
Pull out the glove box just enough to reach the globe
Twist and pull the globe to remove.
I found it was a type I had never seen before and is already LED, just the wrong colour for my liking as I changed all to white colour.
Hope the images can help you anyway5 Photos
