      I have just received clarification and it goes like this:

      1. Under new car warranty (3 years) you can get your car serviced at any Toyota (or approved) dealership without voiding the warranty.
      3. After the 3 years is up, you need to get your car serviced at an AHG dealership otherwise YOU WILL VOID the capped price servicing warranty.

        I don't have it writing, but I can confirm that this is definitely the case.

          Model:
          Claim Periods for Prado

          Claiming from Service Due Date (services 1[W] to 5);
          Can be claimed within 3 months of the service due date
          Claiming After Service Due Date (services 1 to 5);
          Up to 3 months or 5,000km after the service due date
          Claim Period Final Service (Service 6).
          Maximum of 39 months or 65,000km (whichever occurs first) since original warranty registration date.

            thanks for that guys. I usually do mine a few 100 ks beforehand, especially when I have a 1500km trip coming up.. Its good to know I have some movement.
