Prado GPS app?

Hey guys,

Posting this for my Dad who recently purchased a 2014 GXL Prado
We've heard rumor that you can have a GPS application installed into the cars entertainment system, but I can't find a definitive yes or no answer through a google search, thought it would be best to ask the experts!

Is this possible? does it have to be done by a professional, or is this something we could do at home? how much does it cost?
