  • Newb here with a 1996 Prado

    Just bought myself a series 70 (78??)
Im so newb< i don't even know what I have yet!!!!
    1KZTE auto 107k km
What I am wondering, is what kind of lift tire combo is reasonable for the vehicle. I do like to off road in the mountains of BC, but my days of extreme rock crawling are over!! (my old truck is a Suzuki Jimny with way to many mods)

Truck came with crappy snow tires, and I want them off ASAP, and want to get some good tires on it, however I won't be able to start on the lift until sept. Anyone recommend a good tire size? I don't plan on changing any gearing.

Also, its sounds and feels like I have a loose bearing on the left side, have a few mm of play, is this a whole knuckle rebuild??

Hope I have the correct section, I count find a 70 series area.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

I dont think there is an actual 70series section on the forum.
cant say i know to much about the 70s as they seem very rare in austrailia.
      good luck with the build
