They got me once that I know of but have seen the camera cars when Ive been on the road so maybe more!

If you have seen the google car, and can remember where you saw it go to google maps, then tag the 'Browse Street View Images' and drag and drop the little yellow man to the spot.
Saw the google car in my street a while ago and this is his pic. I screen dumped to 'Paint' then cropped what i wanted and saved in jpeg.
