I'm not being rude or angry...I'm just saying...I'm not so sure that Pradopoint is the best place for this...as the case involves the sale of a Daimler. Different mater if it was the sale of a Prado....but if it was Prado, he would not want his money back
You didn't happen to put money down on an old Daimler by any chance? ;D

At this stage I have asked her to submit my paperwork and write him a letter explaining the no win situation he is in and hopefully have him withdraw his complaint. If not, I will represent myself at the hearings. It will be too expensive if she shows up with me.

To say I'm a little cranky would be an understatement.
It's borderline ludicrous to be honest.
He should just chalk it up as a life lesson, take the car and move on.

It's the culture of litigation that we live in , heavily promoted by the legal profession, where no one wants to take personal responsibility and some one else is always to blame.

The problem is there are always at least 2 sides to each story - and each side thinks they are in the right. That's why there are Courts and/or tribunals who deal with these issues.

(PS: no reason to doubt the version given here, just stating the obvious above.)

Yeah you are not wrong. It's becoming a sad sad world we live in.
It'll get to breaking point and change hopefully - but until then I'm going to keep educating my kids that there are always consequences for their actions.

On the topic of litigation, it's amazing the amount of advertising that law firms do these days. There is definitely a place for the courts and some disputes are genuinely difficult to work out, however there is also a lot of litigation which is purely focused on making money. You only have to look at the US to see where it has come from.
