Haven't seen diesel this cheap in ages.

$1.02.7 at Caltex Woolies at Northlakes yesterday. Bought some milk and got 4 + 4 c off. Effectively paid 94.7 c per L.

Just in time for a camping weekend.

My last tank was at $1.169 / litre...which is unheard of here. I don't get the woolies discounts as I use a starcard...but I do not pay GST through my lease, so effectively I get a 12ishc/litre discount

I paid 99c/l for regular petrol today. Was only going to put in a little bit until I saw that price.

Yeah I know it's not diesel but still had to tell someone! Haha

I got so excited to see $1.34 at BP in Alice the other day!

When I was in Adelaide over Christmas I paid 89.9c in Mt Barker. Got photo proof for anyone who wants to challenge that haha

Yes cheap, so it shows the rest of the outlets are profiteering prices still.
Diesel in melb is still around 1.16.9. Which is why they can do 14cents off atm.
But at this price nobody cares, they are used to paying more for it.

Unleaded here has gone under a buck, but its at the bottom end of the cycle, it will be up 20 cents or so soon, for the Super profiteering!
Diesel should be the same Under a buck.

This one is always one of the cheapest premium diesel around Melb


Most shell are 119.9.

i filled up today at BP with Ultimate diesel for 99.9c

still would like to know how that get divied up
what is the cost of the fuel delivered?
what is the federal tax ?
what is the state tax?
what is the GST

9mths ago a barrel of oil was $100+
now under $30 a barrel

i will find out what the price of fuel is from my mates in the US

someone is making some money for nothing !!

just have a think about what goes into making 1L of fuel
drilling rig, lots of rig workers paid heaps, piping or shipping it to shore, refining it, storing it, transporting it, providing servo's to hold & pump it

now ask the same question for a 600ml bottle of water
glad they don't make cars run on spring water
