    Hi guys downunder

I´m a Landcruiser Fan for many years and reading in an Australian-Forum is even more exiting as Australia is one of my favourite countries.
I´ve been to your country about 3 times and also lived in Brisbane for half a year.
Last Time 2004 I travelled WA with a friend and we encountered the very nice south around Albany.
In the past I owned several J8 and J9 Landcruiser.
Currently I am happy with a Pajero V60 Diesel, but I am on the brink of buying the FJ Cruiser to be run on Gas.
The choice for the FJ grew more and more, because it is very hard to find a used Prado V6 in Europe. FJ are far more imported from US costing only about 70 percent of a Prado. Meanwhile I like the shape of the FJ and of course it´s capabilties offroad.
greetings to Australia, in my eyes probably the best country to live.

        Welcome mate!

Those FJ Cruisers are certainly a great vehicle. After spending a long weekend playing around in them, I was totally taken by their capability and good looks.

          Thanks for the welcome.
nice pictures on the FJ-Link.....but why do they always want to sink their cars.

          Hi Mick
Seems I took the wrong ship 30 years ago , when I went to South Africa and Namibia.
stayed only a few years as high crime was taking the fun of life.
Never been to Adelaide, but from what I know it could be the place where I want to be burried with dog and wife.
SA is sure a good place for 4x4. May be on the list of my next holiday.
we have warm weather these days and right now I will take my Polaris 800 out for a ride in the Bavarian Forest.

            well

be careful on that Polaris.....methinks 2 wheels better than four on one of those things!!

I had German friends visit WA in February this year and stay awhile with me in the hills outside Perth......they too love Australia and if they had enough money would move out here if they could. they went up to Coral bay and Monkey Mia as well toured the South West and Albany.

no wonder, there are more emigrating these days then ever.
too many rules and new laws not only from the government but also from waterhead EU. Both create every year new laws to pinch the last cent from our pocket.
In exchange for that, you have no freedom to drive anywhere. As soon as you hit the road, Germany is offering 20 Million road-signs. This number is true.
