Hi All,
I am leaving my Prado in for a major service in a week (timing belt replacement) and I asked about filter brands used. I was told that the mechanics use Valvoline and Cooper brands of filter. My question is are these up to snuff? How would they compare to Ryco or OEM? I'd like good quality filters and would be prepared to supply them to the mechanics if needs be, but I'm not looking for an obscure German brand made from the wool of albino alpacas or anything. Good enough is good enough. Thanks!
