Just when you thought that you had raised your kids to be fine up-standing citizens and that they would follow dad's lead and buy a trusty Toyota 4WD, number one has gone shopping for a BT50 dual cab. I mean, when he was on his Ps, I gave him my modified 90 series which we subsequently sold to fund a Falcon ute for his trade. I could live with that. Then that got written off so we put the money into an XR8 Ford ute. As a Ford petrol head from the 70s I could live with that. Number 2 just traded his (mum's) old Camry for a nice Aurion Sportivo V6. He doesn't need a fourby so I can live with that - at least he kept to the Toyota brand. But as for number one, I don't know what to do. Should I tell him not to park the BT in my driveway when he visits in case the neighbours get the wrong impression?

Bugger Bali, get out and see Australia before we sell it all to China.

tell him to park a few streets away.
definitely don't want the neighbors to get the wrong impression.

we have a 150 Prado and a 2013 Ranger. I traded my 2006 Hilux in on the ranger. I miss my Hilux. Ranger feels like it was built in a hurry and not as solid as my hilux was.

Think yourself lucky that it wasn't a Hyundai Veloster. That's 4 years of my life I'll never get back!

He really wanted a Ranger Wildtrak but paying off a new house he can't stretch the extra 12 - 13K to manage that.

25 years - I think the warranty on that has well and truly expired.
