Does anyone know if there are any ADR/insurance/police issues when changing factory seats to aftermarket seats? From what I can see aftermarket ones don't have air bags.

They will need an engineers report to be legal.

Wouldn't be a problem in a car that came from the factory without seat airbags providing the seat carries an ADR type compliant tag.Dave

Quite simple really
It is not legal to remove a front seat with an airbag and replace it with an aftermarket seat without. No Blue slip or engineers cert will counter that.Comment
