Just about to purchase a Hobie Tandem Island. Great looking piece of kit but big and heavy for 1 to manage.
I want to "car top" and am looking at boat side loaders to make it safer and more manageable. Does anyone have any experience with either the:
Rhino side boat loader:

or the Sidewinder side boat loader:
http://www.boathoist.com.au/index.cf...ory_code=33609
Or any other side boat loader they care to comment on?
A quick look at some of the others on the market and the boat loader looks so over engineered that I'd be over the safe working limit of the roof.
My current preference of the above 2 (based on what I've seen online) is the rhino version, solely for the reason I don't have to cart around a winch when I'm not using the boat loader and can make do with a cordless drill (as long as it's charged). I still struggle with the price for these though..
