The lowdown on Techstream please.

Can someone give me the short version of which program and cable is the best and easiest to use off Ebay. Any other tips would be great to. I know there are other threads on this but they are getting a little long winded and I don't have the time to read the whole thing.

Just a follow up on this. After heaps of unsuccessful fiddling with setting up Techstream on my laptop I got onto the Auto Profesionals forum. They have a download of the drivers and Techstream latest versions that is a simple self install with no work arounds for 64 bit OS or anything like that. I highly recommend this if you are having trouble with installation. Also you don't need to buy the dearest cable like I did. I don't think it is any better than the cheaper ones.

Does anybody have a link to list of car functions that can be changed? Like the seat belt sensor alarm, etc?

I'm interested in that and cold start readings primarily.
