  • Problem with images

Trying to add a few images from the Icy creek weekender and I've encounted a problem.
I like to upload them at 640x480 as I think it looks neater on the forum. (plus I dont have a big screen)
A couple of my images appear on the forum at 1200x800 even though I uploaded to photobucket at 640x480, having different image sizes makes the post look messy but whatever I do they come up at 1200x800.

I tried deleting them from photobucket and re uploading them again at 640x480 but it wont have it.

    Its driving me mad

    Hey Pomp

If you've deleted the images from Photobucket and reloaded them (a different size) ... you will still see them at the old size until you hit the refresh button.

Do the same (refresh button) when you get back to PP and you should see the changes.

While you still have the sessions open the computer sees no reason to update what it is looking at ... the content files names haven't changed so it doesn't bother changing. Hitting the refresh forces it to go and look again.

    Hope this helps.

BTW - your pics look great and ... after refreshing my screen ... they all appear at 640 x 480

    Cheers

I did think it was something like that but even after a re-boot its still the same, I removed the 1200x800 images from the post because it was annoying me
Also when I try to resize the photos using the photobucket software the whole thing crashes and returns me to the desktop.

            Youdaman!!

After searching and finding this thread, i went back to one of my posts and hit the refresh button, and whammo!! pics as i had loaded them from photobucket. yay

            Thanks for solving the problem.

Pomp, try the same. Like you, I assumed that rebooting or turning off and coming back later would change the pics to the edited/touched up/re sized ones on photobucket. It was driving me crackers!! :? :?
