    Tip: Touch Up paint drying up

    Hey Guys,

    A little tip on where to store the Touch up paint from drying up :arrow: store in the Fridge.

    Today I had to do some touching up, spilt some battery acid near cradle, painted with "Etch primer" used the touch up paint all good now.

    Is it worth it?

    Personally, I would not store an industrial solutions in the fridge along side my food, besides for a $15 you can get another touchup bottle.
    "Ooops I just deleted the internet, lucky I was able to recover 99.7% of it out of the bin" :lol:

      If you want to spend $15 everytime you find the can of paint has hardened. Its not as if its kept open or anything.

        I was actually responding to Deeptank (120 Series) whose ARB (new) is rusting, not for scratches .

          Thanks for the info dustie... i'll have a go at my stone chips and throw my paint in the beer fridge

            Hey crammy, How did your stone chips come up? I've noticed a couple in bonnet and a chip on each front door. Prob from shop centre? Standard paint looks super think though? And is your paint still good in the beer fridge?

              The normal storage for paint tins is to store it upside down so that the air can't go in through the lid. Perhaps this applies to touch up paint bottles as well.

                I've stored mine in the 'beer' fridge and it is always thin...
