After reading through the above thread, some suggested using the Fuel heater loom as an ignition active 12v source by installing a relay in the FUEL-HTR location.
I was keen to use this in my 2008 120 series d4d diesel. I found the 2-pin plug taped up as described, and then bought a relay from jaycar. I went to install it in the relay position marked "A/F heater" only to find that the relay socket contains no pins! Am I looking at the right relay position? Does anyone else with a 120 diesel have these pins missing also?
