Rhino rack - installation - roof lining

Hi,

Thinking of getting a rhino rack pioneer. To remove the original prado rails to fit it, do you have to remove the roof lining inside the car?

No you don't. And the backbone part is reasonably straight-forward. Just make sure you have the rounded Hex key before you start taking the rails off - else you'll be driving along without anything on the roof as you go and buy one. The link #### has provided is a great help - it will go through it step by step. Here's hoping your kit doesn't need any drilling like mine did! BTW - buy an 8.5mm drill bit just in case...
