Awning flapping in rthe wind - additional mounting advice

I purchased a delux Supa Peg 4x4 awning as most people on this site recommended them as the best.

I have found that the vecro strips that secure the roof awning to the horizontal stabilizer poles have quickly lost their "stickiness" and do not keep the roof secured which then flaps annoyingly in the wind.

Can anyone offer any practical advice how to repair this problem.

If still in warranty period contact the seller. It's not fit for the purpose so should be repaired or replaced or refunded.

Otherwise find a local seamstress and have new quality Velcro stitched on or stitched over the original.

I contacted the suppliers of the Supa Peg Awning, Supa RV Aust and they were very helpful and told me they will send me the new upgrade with longer, stronger velcro strips for free.

I was very happy with their response and I am glad now I bought an Australian made product as I don't speak Chinese (but my son does as he lives there lol).
