  • New Model Prado

My understanding is that Toyota generally has a 10 year run with body shaped vehicles before a significant upgrade involving body shape occurs.

Does anybody know whether Toyota is likely to do their major upgrade on a Prado in 2018 or is it more likely to remain as is for another couple of years.

I'm looking at possible upgrading into a newer 150 prado sometime next year and wonder whether it is worth grabbing a current model early next year or waiting until later if a major upgrade was proposed.

Dual batteries, GME CB, ERP's Rust Proofing
Bridgestone D697LT All Terrain Tyres & Micky Thompson Mtz's

Gday, i have it in good faith from several Toyota dealers that there will be a facelift to the 150 prado in final quarter of this year (similar amount of changes to what the 200 series got in 2015) the idea of this is to buy Toyota more time for development of the new model, maybe a 3-4 years away.

Also this is a link from a separate report to back up what the dealers have heard.
