We're flying off to Melbourne tonight, my son has been selected to play for WA in the state school boys football carnival over the next two weeks.
He's still 14, is 6'3" tall and weighs 88kgs and with a bit of luck he'll be out there at Windy Hill kicking some Victorian ar$e in around 10 days.
Last year WA lost by 3 points to Vic Metro in the final after the flu swept through the team. This years side is supposed to be the best produced in years.
Its exciting when one of your kids gets to this level in sport, but the down side is we dont have any time to do any offroading. This time last year, we were planning on being in the Kimberley's about now.
