Ive got the whole brochure but its a bit fidly trying to upload it on my phone. But a GXL is $64,500 driveaway. The GXL also now has an option to add leather heated and cooled electric seats for an extra $3000 if you want. Also a couple of new colours now available on the GXL including crystal pearl white, metallic black for example. I signed up today for a GXL in the crystal pearl. Should pick it up late next week or early week after.

Pricing not too bad, considering I bought it 66700 1.5 years ago with tow bar and extended warranty.....although I didn't bargain for some reason..

Can you please provide the GCM, GVM and towing capacity from the brochure?

The only info in the brochure is that its 3000kg braked towing capacity for auto's only. Other technical specs are missing from the brochure but dealer will have early this week coming.

Yes there are 2 manual options. GX 5 seat and GXL.

I hope so , it’s just that in the last few pages it was mentioned twice that the GXL has no manual option

Nah, you're reading the brochure wrong (picked mine up from the dealer this morning).....on the GXL page it says "In addition to, or in replacement of, GX features". There is no mention of either transmission on this page so it's the same as the GX. If you turn over to the VX page it states 6-speed automatic transmission only.

Photo in the new brochure of the Toyota towbar fitted shows it hangs below the bumper bar same as the superseded model.

Something interesting i've noticed with the new facelifted Prado brochure i picked up from the dealer this morning, instead of taking new photos Toyota has just photoshopped the facelifted model onto the old model brochure photos......the backgrounds are identical on all photos, even on the cover......incredible the effort someone's put in.

Just got a call from a Toyota dealer. They have prices for the new Prado 2018 model.

Prado GX is $400 more expensive and GXL is $240 less expensive. I don't know about the other variants.

I think that puts the RRP on the Prado GX auto at $56490, and the Prado GXL auto at $62990.

I think he said that the official launch is this Friday, 10 November.

Hi SFB77 are you saying you have ordered a 2018 GXL and can receive delivery of it by next week? I was told I wouldn't be able to get one until Jan 2018 if i ordered when they officially launch in Early Nov 2017

Hi everyone, new forum member and first post

Just to add to the quote above and the thread in general, I was in the local Sci Fleet dealer yesterday and the full GXL quote with metallic paint was $68262.66 but they would sell for $62990 drive-away, so your estimate sounds about right (if we presume for a moment this is the price everyone gets without even asking). Leather option is another $3000. VX quoted at $80,042.36 drive-away but would sell for $73000. Spoke to another dealer who made all kinds of noises about "Is this the new car or the current car" and "that's really cheap" before eventually saying "I can definitely beat that price"

Definitely no KDSS on anything other than Kakadu, not even as an option on the VX.

Neither dealer had stock yet - the second dealer apparently didn't even have the price list from Toyota or details of what vehicles they would receive. Sci-Fleet did at least know what colours and grades they were getting. Neither really knew when the new model was going to be available, best guess from them was in a week's time.

Finally got a brochure too, and have uploaded a PDF version to Dropbox (14MB) for those who haven't seen it yet.
