Sounds expensive - how much do the tow pack & mats go for? My first quote with no haggling was $62990 and I reckon that'll come down to at least $62k. So the tow pack & mats want to be worth about $5k.Originally posted by MalG View PostI have just been quoted $67000 with tow pack and carpet mats - GXL auto, graphite - drive away.

Definitely, IMHO
Have just ordered my new vehicle to be delivered early next year, to replace my 2010 LC150 VX, but new VX does not have KDSS so after consultation with SWMBO I was allowed to order the Limited version, Kakadu in OZ. I really wanted KDSS, minimises body roll and great when towing, seemed to keep the vehicle level, suggest you check the TOYO web sites for an explanation of what KDSS does and how it works. If you can afford it then get it !Originally posted by Mushie View PostI am looking into a new Prado as well. I would like to know from someone who has used the KDSS on their thoughts. Is it really worth it??

I think it is defiently worth it, the only people who will say other wise are those without it lolOriginally posted by Mushie View PostI am looking into a new Prado as well. I would like to know from someone who has used the KDSS on their thoughts. Is it really worth it??
It can take some work finding Someone that can install a suspension lift but it can be done with out Much fuss
It is one of those things people over look yet it's something that improves drive quality a lot, only something that is noticed every time the car is used

I have a 2014 3.0 VX with KDSS......when Toyota brought out the 2.8 the dealer gave me there GXL demo for the day while my VX was in for a service......from the moment I drove out I couldn't believe how much I missed the KDSS!!! It really does make that much difference, a completely different car to drive. My local dealer was a Crystal Pearl Kakadu due in next week, if I can haggle a decent deal i'll be upgrading......as somebody else has already said, if you can afford it, get it.....you won't be disappointed.

KDSS is great. Excellent wheel travel offroad and extremely good handling on road. Can do a ring road without body roll at 80km/h.Originally posted by Mushie View PostI am looking into a new Prado as well. I would like to know from someone who has used the KDSS on their thoughts.
