Prado 2012 Tyre size
Hi guys, new to being a Prado owner, 1 week now and love them. I am thinking about changing the tires on my Prado and wondered if anyone has put 285/70/17 on their 2012 Prado GXL. Currently it has 265/65/17 but like bigger tires. Has anyone put this size tire on their car and has it affected anything in a negative way, like power. I am getting it lifted next week with a 50mm lift kit so hopefully this will assist. Also will it fit inside the spare wheel cover, not that i am too worried about that.

Thanks for the help. Still a bit unsure what I am going to do. I have never had a standard tire on a car but in this case i will be using the standard rims as i actually like the look of them and with the rim offset i think i will need to do a bit more investigations, but i do like the look of the wide tires.Originally posted by amts View PostComment
