Arb element fridge

Can any one tell me if the element 60l fits in the back of the gxl 150 and still put one of the 3rd row seats up

I was going to buy one of those new ARB fridges but the gas strut on the door was still under development when I sold my to 2 Engel 40l fridges so instead I thought I'll stick to what I know and I got a 60l Engel Legacy. I can still fold one seat up for use with the fridge in place.

I got out the tape measure for you...

The fridge is 820mm long and 490mm wide. The area with one seat up is around 550 x 820 (if you may have to move the middle seat forward one or two notches). I personally would not sit someone next to it - it would be a 60kg missile and it would be difficult to secure properly if you leave both seats in place. If you still need to, I would probably get Drifta or similar to make a half platform that bolts to the 4 rear seat bolts and bolt a fridge slide to that.

The problem with a fridge in the back while the seats are still in is lack of height. I have a 40L Engel which fits fine however the lid doesn't open very far and is a pain to load and unload. Seriously looking at a 32L Engel just for use while the seats are in and not the drawers.

Thanks Goggo,Bobcrusader,Nova agree with you just thought I could sit the wife in the last seat to pass me the cans (Pepsi). Think I will have to go for drawers and fridge slide Hopefully be the proud owner of both fridge and car in the next few weeks

I have been waiting for someone to show off one of the draw fridges built into a platform of some variety

hoping that 1 seat could be left in third row and fridge plus platform and a pull out table could be goer
