  • SD card files - Fujitsu Ten headunits

Hi all - thought this the best place for this question as its not 120/150 specific

Im looking to buy a Fujitsu Ten head unit (either the PZQ60-00525 or PZQ60-00535) but unfortunately most of the secondhand units I’m finding are sold without an SD.

    Two part question:
    1. Does anyone know if I can copy the files from an SD card onto a new SD card for the Fujitsu Ten head units?

    2. If so, is it possible to use the files from a Subaru with a Fujitsu Ten unit? Both Subaru and Toyota use the same units, so I am wonding if there are different root files that are unique to each, or if they are interchangeable.

    Appreciate any advice on this

    Gav

      1. Ditto
      2. I have read that a card from a Subaru will work in a Toyota but have not tried it as I don't know how current their mapping is.

Have you read my many threads moaning about the factory head unit or fitting the alternative Chinese android units with 10 inch screens which solved all my problems.
If you are still wanting to buy a Fujitsu Ten unit I do have the original SD card which came with my 2015 Prado but the maps are early 2013 from memory. You could have it if it is any help but I would advise an android unit then you can do whatever you like with it.

I don't know how you managed to send a PM as I thought the PM system doesn't work?

No problem but just to let you know that I don't think that works either as I haven't received anything. I don't want you to think that I have ignored your message. I have asked in the general section why PMs don't work but didn't get any response.
