Hi All.
About 4 months ago the scanguage in my 2008 V6 auto started playing up. I have displayed
L/100
Speed
Volts
Engine temp
The latter 3 items are normal. It is the L/100 that is playing up. What it is doing is displaying a greater consumption than actual eg normal cruising might show 23L/100 when towing but now it displays around 45-55L/100. Doing a calculation after a refill shows consumption normal. This irregular activity affects DTE as well as the other calculations based on fuel consumption.
I have unplugged the scanguage for a couple of minutes and plugged back in but the fault is still there.
Short of performing a firmware upgrade which costs money has anyone experienced this before or have any ideas. Thanks.
