              --> Click on your username (top right hand corner)
              --> Click on 'my profile'
              --> Click on the avatar and it will say 'edit avatar'

                Also unable to see at a glance what forums have new posts since the last time you visited as all titles are the same colour.

                    I have tried different devices and different locations (both via home WIFI and when I am out on 3/4G) - same result
                    Any updates to the problem?
                    maybe more than just a server issue as itís been happening for days now at all different times of the day/night?

                      Iím getting fatal error msg too when trying to access some threads. Sometimes I can access one thread, then not a second without it timing out each time. Every now & again I experience issues trying to access site where the loading up of the site is non responsive. Happens on both iPhone & ipad.
                      Also I have no provision to edit avatar. I click on it in my profile like someone pointed out but no response or edit msg of any kind.

                        You can edit avatar by clicking on it and an edit picture button comes up.

                        In regards to time outs, it is happening, and we expect it is because of the huge server load that the site is generating currently. Weekends are seeing in excess of 5000 sessions (A day) and weekdays are in excess of 3000 ( a Day), so its a lot busier than it used to be.. Things are being done in the background to deal with this. A number of posts have been seen on the timeouts and its been acknowledged and work is underway.
