2018 Pradopoint Upgrade troubleshooting thread.

Any idea what could still be going on ... I am getting the error (Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/pradopoi/public_html/includes/vb5/template/url.php on line 321) when I login under my user name. When I log out ... I am able to view the forum. This has been going on for the past few weeks now (at different times of the day and night)

Anyone else experiencing this problem?
Any idea when a fix could be or a work around? It makes it difficult (impossible) to make a post when the only way into the forum is when I am logged out.

I'm sure many others are still experiencing this problem as I am, but when I click on my avatar picture to try and change it in "My Profile" nothing happens. It's completely non-responsive. There's no pop up of any kind prompting anything. Tried all sorts of things to change it but no luck. Im also unable to open the thread, "What did you do to your 90 today" under General Discussion in the 90 series list. The load page bar moves 1/5 of the way, then times out each and every time after 30 secs. The padlock in my URL bar is black too if that means anything. I read that it's meant to be green? All other threads I've visited have loaded no problems now except that one.

I was able to change my avatar picture when the forum was first changed. Now I cannot. There isn't an option to change it now when you click on the picture.

Worked for mine, but was not working for the original picture. Added a new pic and it worked fine.

Please reread the thread, its been answered a couple of times.

Well the "answer" is that it doesn't work for quite a few people... and no-one knows why...

I'm on a mac, and there is no way to create an avatar. I have a blank default avatar, and there is no option appearing to change it, when I click on it.

I'm on a Mac, no issue. Firefox usually on PP here.

So, when you put your cursor over the area of the avatar, does it show this:



Can you click on the 'Edit Avatar' label?

If you can, you then see this, and you can add an avatar:

No...clicking the cursor on the area over the avatar has zero effect.

Can you click on the 'Edit Avatar' label?

No - there isn't an "Edit Avater" label...

If you can, you then see this, and you can add an avatar.

Post 53 of this thread addressed it. You can go to your profile and look at your posts, its in there. I also put it into search and it came up.

--> Click on 'my profile'
--> Click on the avatar and it will say 'edit avatar'

Subbo the same is for me , i can not add an avatar photo cuz when we click on it or anything in it around it nothing happens ..

also if i read a post from new topics it then dissapears to its sub section position and gone from the new posts /topics section .
Another odity as i post usually in the 90 searies section it does not go to new posts or todays post section .
the other series 120/150 seem to be ok .

just observing and reading entire thread btw. and leaving the in input

It really is a staggering amount of work for the tech people to clean out all the bugs . it is such a pain in the but , and prado ,thats a big but., so lets all be patient and give the admin and tech people a good amount of time to sort things . I would imagine that there are people that are working on it on a voluntary basis . Thank you who ever you are.

Is there a way to show the desktop version on a mobile device? I used to be able to but not on this update. I prefer to use the desktop version.

Please could uploaded photos to the forum be made to magnify as happens on the Fortuner forum. I have uploaded some graphs in the DPF and white smoke thread and people could not see them clearly. I used exactly the same pictures when uploading to the Fortuner forum and they can be "clicked" on to expand them to make them more readable.
