Not much on this topic to answer my question.

How does one remove calcium build-up / water marks on the exterior glass and is there a product that limits it?

Don't know for sure, but give RainX (I think that's what it's called) a go. It's a very fine cut/polish for glass which you buff off. Improves the way water beads off the windscreen too improving visibility in rain-driving.

i use in a 500ml windex bottle 200ml of metho and 300ml of water and thats on tinted windows inside, outside just plain old windex works well. cheers samo

I use windex or kitten and I find the Kitten product better but it still leaves calcium deposits or similar.
